Founded in 2006, Ara Azzurro was born from the passion of two Canadian-Italians who shared a deep appreciation for both their heritage and the rich culture of espresso.

For them, espresso was never just coffee. It was a daily ritual—a moment to slow down, connect with family and friends, and enjoy conversation over a perfectly crafted cup. They set out to bring that authentic Italian espresso experience into homes across Canada, offering traditional blends that deliver bold flavour, rich crema, and exceptional balance.

Today, Ara Azzurro remains a family-run business under the leadership of Peter Armata and his family. While much has changed over the years, the blend itself hasn't. Nearly twenty years later, we continue to roast the same traditional recipe that first introduced customers to the authentic taste of Ara Azzurro Espresso.

We continue to roast in small batches to ensure consistency, freshness, and the authentic character our customers have come to expect. Every bag is carefully crafted to honour the traditions of Italian espresso while delivering a coffee experience that can be enjoyed every day.
